Empower University: Building Bright Futures for Students of Color

Empower University, the signature program of eMpowerment Inc., isn't just an educational program; it's a life-changing roadmap for students of color in Southeast Nashville who dream of achieving their full potential.

Starting in 9th grade, we empower students to:

  • Chart their course: Design a personalized career roadmap through self-discovery and exploration.

  • Make informed choices: Navigate the path to college or vocational school with expert guidance and support.

  • Connect with mentors: Gain invaluable insights and inspiration from professionals in their desired field.

  • Excel in academics: Craft compelling college applications with dedicated assistance.

  • Master life skills: Develop financial literacy, communication skills, and other essentials for success.

  • Conquer challenges: Access the Bright Futures fund to overcome financial barriers and achieve their goals.

We champion inclusivity, welcoming both college-bound students and those pursuing trades, ensuring everyone has the tools and support to succeed.

Beyond empowering individuals, Empower University is about shattering barriers:

  • Addressing systemic challenges: We recognize the unique obstacles faced by minority students and provide vital resources to overcome them.

  • Investing in the future: Our 1000 Dreams Fund aims to raise $1 million for scholarships, ensuring financial barriers don't limit a student's potential.

Empower University isn't just a program; it's a promise of transformation, a community of support, and a pathway to a brighter future for every student.
